The Barcelona Summit Taps PR Kitty as Official Promoter

BARCELONA — The Barcelona Summit management has once again partnered with PR Kitty as its official promoter for the U.S. and Canada.

“With the excellent results that PR Kitty produced with the first Barcelona Summit it was our every intention to continue and expand this fruitful relationship,” said Karl Done, head of The Barcelona Summit marketing. “We are excited to have one of the adult industry’s leading ladies on board. PR Kitty’s diligent, creative and spot-on input helped shape last year’s successful show so it just makes sense to work together again.”

The Barcelona Summit 2009 had more than 300 participants from 26 countries. According to the company, this year the anticipation is for a bigger variety of attendees from different countries participating and is giving free tickets to webmasters to ensure that the show is not just B2B.

Andreas Bischoff, The Barcelona Summit CEO, said the goal of the event is to “bring new faces and generated new revenue streams and quality business.”

“The harsh economic conditions combined with the changing landscape of adult online, has forced the industry to re-think its strategy,” said Jenni Dahling of PR Kitty. “With cross-border relationships becoming more and more important every day, The Barcelona Summit offers us that international platform that was so needed.

“U.S. and Canadian-based businesses want to tap-in to the lucrative European market, but it’s new territory to a lot of these folks. I am proud to be associated with the professional TBS management team and am convinced that the Summit is not only a top-notch Pan-European affair but a bridge over the Atlantic to enhance the development of international business.”

The Barcelona Summit 2010 has been strategically scheduled directly after the GSMA mobile show to bring in more relevant mobile business at the event. TBS will also put some emphasis on peripheral markets such as adult dating and adult social networking.

The Barcelona Summit is set for Feb. 19-22.
